Roizman creates developments that are consistent with "New Urbanism" and "Smart Growth" objectives, working with existing infrastructures that are close to public transportation and services to create a clear sense of "place." In many instances, our developments have acted as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization, often stimulating other developments in the project area.

All of Roizman's new construction projects and most rehabilitation projects also reflect the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design: "eyes on the street" design strategy; eliminating uncontrolled, indefensible, open space areas; effective landscape and lighting design; and state-of-the-art security and surveillance technology.

In many instances, we proactively seek the involvement of community-based organizations, tenant associations, and residents to formulate the best approach to the particular development. We have found that considering all parties' interests is the best way to assure the long-term success of a residential development.
